OVERVIEW

I was introduced to the organizations founder, Dina Zeller, through the Co-Founder of TheGuarantors Bob Schmidt. He had done a lot of business with Dina's husband, and upon hearing about Future Thespians he asked if I'd be interested in freelancing for the cause and made the introduction.

Future Thespians was made to prepare students in school for their possible careers in theater, with in depth preparations for the audition process, pre-screens, monologue selections, and applications. In addition to year-round help, the organization would offer scholarships to young arts as well.

 

WHAT I DID

Brand Messaging, Brand Strategy, Brand Identity, Photography Treatments

 
 
 

OUTCOME

The icon presented was inspired by the famous William Shakespeare line from 'Romeo and Juliet,' "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet," as well as incorporating a Comedy & Tragedy mask idea as the bud of the rose. The use of the flower is also to symbolize a state of blooming, relative to the Future in Future Thespians. Paired with a "serious" font treatment, and soft pantones.
